Aside from U.S. stage rally and rallycross, the team also entered Higgins in the revived Mt. Washington Climb to the Clouds Hillclimb in New Hampshire. As reported in Drive Performance Journal entries and Version 8.2, he took overall victory with a record-breaking time.
There’s never much time off for a rally team, and, as it prepared its cars for the upcoming 2012 season, Higgins/Drew took in one last event at the end of November – the Rally of the Tall Pines. In that final round of the hotly contested 2011 Canadian Rally Championship, Higgins finished 2nd.
The first round of the 2012 Rally America National Championship (Sno*Drift Rally) is slated for the last weekend in January. It kicks off a new season of stage rally and rallycross while continuing the sage of Subaru in American rallying.
