I arrived at my first duty station – Misawa Air Base, Japan – with wide eyes and hope for a nearby track and some nice cars. After finding a dealership that was willing to pick up whatever I wanted or could afford, I put in my order for a 1995 GC8 WRX STi.
When it arrived I instantly fell in love with it. Within a week I was already thrashing around a grip racing/drift track, slinging mud at the beach and on trails, and making a list of parts I would need to make this thing even faster. I grabbed up a set of Rally Armor® urethane mud flaps, a Trust (GReddy) cat-back exhaust, and an A’PEXi® intake for it.
