Subaru Motorsports:
2012 Q+A

Q&A: How would you summarize the 2012 season for you and the team?

SRT USA

James Han: “When it comes to motorsport, Subaru is best and widely associated with rally racing.

In America, we maintained our one-car Subaru Rally Team USA in the premier Rally America National Championship. David [Higgins] and [co-driver] Craig [Drew] dominated the series to claim the title for the 2nd consecutive year after just the 5th round.

Rather than resting on our laurels, we constantly develop enhancements to our championship-winning package in the #75 SRT USA WRX STI. Idling bears the risk of running behind.”

David Higgins: “I’m extremely proud of what we accomplished this year. To successfully defend our championship and keep Subaru atop rallying in the USA means a lot to Craig and me.

Our Subaru has been perfect all season. The 2012 WRX STI is reliable and so tough, and that has really been the difference in the points race. We have finished every event with either a victory or a 2nd-place finish, and the car has worked in every condition thrown at it.

I thank Subaru for their support and faith in myself and Craig and big thanks to the team at Vermont SportsCar who have worked tirelessly on providing me with the best car and the best team possible.”
