I am now onto my third Subaru, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I grew up in the rally racing scene, and I’m still a part of it. My mother owns two Subaru vehicles and has raced in many throughout the years. I grew up wrenching on them and learned how to drive with a 2000 2.5RS.
The Subaru community within the Pacific Northwest is the best I’ve ever seen. Everyone is there for each other no matter if they don’t always get along.
I was at a rally race a few years back and got in a T-bone accident that was right into the driver’s door. If I wasn’t in my now-totaled 1999 Forester, I wouldn’t have walked away. I’m certain of that.
Numerous strangers who also owned Subaru vehicles stopped to make sure I was all right. Truly grateful for the community.
My current 2001 Legacy gets me everywhere – even locations only Jeeps can go.
I’ve spoken so highly of Subaru that I now have six converted friends who feel the Subaru love and are just about as obsessed as I am! Thanks for making such great cars. They saved my life and are such a blast to drive!

When I was in elementary school in the early 1990s, my mom had a 1989 Subaru GL wagon 5-speed in red, and I thought the car wasn’t cool enough during my younger years. I used to ask her to drop me off around the corner because I was embarrassed to be seen in our car.
Now I am 26 years old, and I drive a 2002 Subaru WRX wagon 5-speed in RED!!! I look back to when I was young, and now I wish my Mom would have saved that car so that I would have had it as my first car. I would do anything to have that car now.
I am now one of the most die-hard Subaru enthusiasts and have owned multiple Subaru vehicles. My girlfriend also has a 2002 WRX Sedan; we are a Subaru family.
I retired my last Subaru, which was a 1998 Subaru Outback with 215,000 miles, and the person I sold it to still drives the car. I miss that car, also.
Please see attached picture of my Subaru. I am a customer who stands behind Subaru for the rest of my life, and I can truly say that Subaru is Love. Thank you Subaru, and I will continue to attempt to convert everyone I see to a Subaru owner.
