EASY STREET MOTORSPORTS SPT ESX WRX

ESXThe Easy Street Motorsports team is extremely busy. It fields the “World’s Fastest New-Gen WRX” in NHRA and IDRC racing events across the country. Along the way, the Subaru Performance Tuning-sponsored Easy Street WRX and driver/builder/owner Ali Afshar also make appearances at Subaru dealerships and Impreza events around the country.

Northern California native Ali Afshar grew up racing ... and winning. Building custom cars and making fast cars even faster helped pay his college tuition. His experience led to establishing Easy Street Motorsports, which held its grand opening in a new 8,000-square-foot facility earlier this year in North Hollywood, California.

On the track, Easy Street Motorsports was first recognized in 2001 when it ran a fully streetable WRX to a quarter-mile time of 10.5 seconds. Ali Afshar and his team whittled down that time to an astounding 9.60 seconds at 145 miles per hour in 2003 (NHRA World Finals, Pomona, California).
